Creativity’s a pretty big thing. Even people who don’t think they have a creative bone in their bodies use their creativity often, in ways that would probably surprise them. As someone who writes and paints a bunch, I know it’s definitely important for me.
Today, I decided to ask my deck where I could find inspiration. What will provoke my next burst of creativity? It answered…
I generally associate Pentacles with material wealth and prosperity, so this was a pretty interesting reading. Specifically, the Ten of Pentacles is associated with a kind of “old money” prosperity– inheritance, retirement, and established dosh. The kind I definitely don’t have right now!
I have had a lot of creative projects I’d like to start up, but money has been somewhat of an impediment. My S.O. and I are still at the beginning of establishing ourselves, so we don’t yet have those kind of reserves to gamble on my flights of fancy. One thing I’ve wanted to get back into is jewelry making, which I could also see this card referring to. Jewelry is a luxury product, and I have a lot of ideas for pieces I’d like to create. Could this be an encouragement to move in that direction?
Or just an acknowledgement that the only thing holding me back is money?
I’m going to flesh out more of my ideas, for jewelry, painting, and other things I’ve got kicking around inside my head. Start small, and maybe I could create enough of a basis to justify expanding later via crowdfunding. We’ll see.
