So, remember when I said I wanted to find a new challenge that would encourage me to further my skills and blog daily? I stumbled upon one on Constellationist’s blog, and it looks good.
It’s from this time last year, and it seems to have been originally conceived as an Instagram challenge, but I think it’ll be helpful to me. I’ll be using the Deviant Moon deck (which I’ve posted on my Instagram before) though I may pull a card here and there from the Regretsy Tarot deck for fun.
I’m not sure of the legality of posting a picture of every card I pull, so I’ll chiefly be writing about my experiences rather than cross-posting them to my IG every day. If you’d like to see more of this deck, I highly encourage you to pick up a copy— the artwork is beautiful, unusual, and evocative, and I was immediately drawn to it.
Admittedly, I’m not entirely sure how I’ll go about interpreting cards through some of the lenses offered by this challenge. That’s something I think will become easier with time, especially as I get into the groove of pulling and interpreting a card each day. That’d be a good habit for me to get into, really– it’s not something I do often, but I have drawn a card in the morning as a kind of meditative focus, or a night to help me sort through the events of a chaotic day.
If nothing else, this tarot challenge should be a lot of fun!
